Kahindo NYC is wearable art with a social impact, empowering women everywhere. The fashion brand, founded by Ugandan-Congolese designer Kahindo Mateene, is based in New York.
The brand recently dropped its Spring/Summer 2025 (SS25) collection, and Satisfashion UG had a chat with Kahindo about her start in the industry, some of the celebrities she has dressed, and insights into her latest collection.

Inspired by her trip to Ghana in December 2023—specifically Adinkra symbols and Cape Coast—this collection is a celebration of bold elegance and ethical craftsmanship.
