A Business Chat Brought Neese & Leland Together!

We all have unique love stories, but some stories, particularly this one we have today, do stand out. Neese Lah, a dance educator, and Leland Brunswick, an Insurance agent, were brought together by a conversation that was everything but love. The couple, who are based in Brooklyn, Houston got engaged on July last year and are set to tie the knot soon.

“Leland and I met through a mutual friend because my insurance went up and I needed a new agent😂. When we spoke over the phone, I thought, “Whew, this man sounds fine lol,” but I didn’t think too deep into it because I knew it was business. Fast forward two months later and we met in person at an event, and he really was fine 😂❤️. ⠀

By the time I got home from that event, Leland added me on IG. A few DMs followed and he asked me on a date not too long after. Our first date was from 3:30 pm until the restaurant closed. We talked about our relationship with God, our love for our families, and simply just wanting to be better people individually. From that day forward, I’ve been doing life with my best friend ❤️🎉.⠀
