A Sweet & Magical Elopement for Nqo & Dylan!

She expected a simple scientific wedding, only to get surprised!

The internet is going crazy over Nqo and Dylan’s magical wedding which held last month. The Zimbabwean couple celebrated their nuptials in three parts; a surprise winter wonderland for the wedding, the reception at the Lion & Cheetah park, and a photo shoot in the Domboshawa Hills later in the evening.

Nqo’s story

This part is the hardest part to write because words cannot sufficiently describe what my gem of a husband did for me. As a creative he poured his heart and soul, his everything into what is a day I will remember for the rest of my life. It was beyond a dream, it was beyond perfect. He gave me himself and he didn’t just do it in words. Our Wedding was a work of art, a masterpiece.

My darling husband being the faith filled dreamer and visionary that he planned our wedding single handedly even with all the COVID19 restrictions. I knew we didn’t have much time. In a matter of days he managed to pull together something that became our wedding.

I knew we were having a small wedding and nothing else. All I was allowed to know was my stunning wedding dress which he picked! 😊 Most people have said I am brave for trusting him to plan our entire wedding but the truth is I trust his creativity, his love for excellence, his taste, his heart so I had no reason to even worry for a second! My man doesn’t do mediocre 💕

To top it off Dylan and my mum surprised me with my mum flying in when it had seemed like it wouldn’t be possible! I screamed and then cried for 15 minutes as I held my mama when she showed up the day before the wedding. That was such a beautiful gift.

The drive to the wedding venue was filled with anticipation of what my husband had done. I was so giddy. We drove up to a gorgeous all white set and at that point I was screaming with excitement (again 🤣). It was a gorgeous set up in the midst of a natural white plain. It looked like snow. It was breathtaking and I went from screaming with excitement at the surprise to welling up with tears at the sheer beauty ❤️.
