Uganda To Host This Year’s Miss Heritage Universe Beauty Pageant

80 beauty queens will be jetting into Kampala for the event to be held in October

Uganda is set to play host to one of the biggest beauty pageants in the world this year. According to the pageant’s social media, Miss Heritage Universe is an international reality television beauty pageant that brings together 80 young women to promote the world’s tangible and intangible heritage.

“Miss Heritage Universe was founded to have young unmarried beautiful women from the ages of 17 to 28 from different backgrounds to be involved in the process of initiating positive sustainable development to the world through the use of beauty pageantry to promote their heritage and tourism,” shared a statement.

80 beauty queens will be jetting into Kampala for the event to be held in October. They’ll be here to two weeks. This beauty pageant has been held in Africa for four times in South Africa and Zimbabwe. This is no small feat for Uganda as the event will shine a global spotlight on our tourism and business opportunities.

All this was made possible thanks to Nsubuga Ronnie, a renowned pageant and model coach with Crystal Models Africa. He will be working together with Ministry of Tourism, Uganda Tourism Board, Uganda Wildlife and Education Centre, KCCA and Uganda Museum on the project.
