July might be synonymous with sporting meets fashion events, and whilst socialites and celebrities might have flocked to Durban for Durban July in South Africa, in Lusaka, they were all about the polo field. The event happened at the Lusaka Polo Club with the theme “A purple empire of royals”.
Guests interpreted the theme liberally and in myriad ways – from voluminous gowns to all shades of purple. The event was graced by some of the continent’s most influential names in fashion, lifestyle, and entertainment – Namibian star @luismunana, Zimbabwe’s @zozomkandlaofficial, South Africa’s sweethearts @thelazymakoti, @cookingwithzanele, Ugandan @abryanz, and Rwandese fashion guru @moshions. They all came dressed to win in festive camera-ready royal looks respectively.
