Joan Smalls snags three January 2014 magazine covers

Joan Smalls has been defending her top-model spot for ages, but with three big-deal January covers out now, it’ll take more than Saskia de Braw and a small, musical army to overthrow the queen.

The Puerto Rican jaw-dropper rang in the new year early with several effusive ‘grams of her Elle, German Vogue and French Elle gigs, for which she wore Givenchy, Prada and … Givenchy. (Riccardo’s having a moment too.)

Although the jury’s still out on who owns 2013 — it’s down to selfies, Miley and what she tries to do with her bum — 2014 looks like it going to be Joan’s.
