From Swanky Jerry’s Big Win to Showstopper Looks, here is Everything You Missed at the GQ Best-Dressed Awards 2023

The stunning Mea Culpa venue in Kew, Johannesburg, played host to this year’s GQ Best Dressed 2023. The event is the year that Editor-in-Chief Molife Kumona called bigger than ever in partnership with Fabiani, Huawei Nova 11 Series, Platoon, Crocs, Lucky Star, Cruz Vodka, BET, Tagged, Brutal Fruit, Origins Gin, as well as goodie bag partners Bacher and Co, Inga Atelier, Calvin Klein, English Blazer.

The event hosted by Nomuzi ‘Moozlie’ Mabena opened up with a power performance by singer Nobuhle, who wowed the crowd with her bangers. She and all the artists on the evening were brought to the event in collaboration with Platoon. The fun-filled event was the place to be. Award-winning musician and GQ July/August 2022 cover star Sun El Musician closed off the show. Some of the big winners of the night were stylist and reality TV star Swanky Jerry who won the GQ Best-dressed Man of 2023 award.
