Pomp and Glam as Miss Uganda Eastern Region gets crowned

This year’s Miss Uganda campaign is every bit glamorous. Brenda Nanyonjo and her team must have gotten the heads up on what has been happening in the past pageants. We cannot wait to see where all this is going to end up.

Magaret Ilwanu from Amuria district was crowned Miss Uganda Eastern Regional Finals on a pompous event at the Crested Crane Hotel in Jinja.
She is a graduate of Makerere Univeristy with a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Fine Arts and currently.

First runner-up was Ankunda Brenda(19) from Jinja who is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in statistics and planning and the second runner up was  Hilda Kaggwa (24). Hilda is a graduate with a Bachelors degree in Information technology and currently working with a mobile intelligence organization.

One thing I’m noting is that Miss Uganda is not for school dropouts anymore.
