Flair Magazine has a new editor: Media star Siima Sabiiti, who comes in from Vision Group’s marketing department where she has been the Creative Manager. Sabiti is succeeding the late Keturah Kamugasa who had been at the helm of the women-centric publication since its launch.
In a statement shared by Vision Group, the parent company of the magazine, Sabiti was described as ‘a regular columnist in Sunday Vision for many years.’
“Siima has worked with Vision Group since September 2009 in XFM as Station Manager and Breakfast show presenter and most recently as Creative Manager in the Marketing Department. She was a regular columnist in Sunday Vision for many years,” read a statement shared on Flair Magazine’s facebook page.
“I am extremely excited to join the team of such an established magazine. I look forward to upholding the standards that have been set and taking the magazine to even greater heights,” the social media star shared ( she boasts 34.7 followers on twitter).
The news comes after the untimely demise of the magazine’s longtime editor Keturah Kamugasa which occurred late last month. The appointment is effective 19th January 2018 which is today.
Congratulations Siima!
