Spotted: Kenyan Fashion Journalist Carol Odero Wearing Beryl Couture by Anita Beryl

When we called Anita Beryl the designer of the moment we weren’t bluffing, just last weekend at the Uganda Entertainment Awards she dressed a good number of celebrities for the event and also walked away with the award for Designer of the year. But as she was celebrating her triumph, somewhere in Nairobi, an award winning fashion journalist was celebrating her design genius as well. Carol Odero wore a dress by Beryl Couture on the hit fashion and style TV show on Citizen TV #FashionWatch on Saturday. This show airs Saturdays at 10:30pm.

Carol Odero wore one of the dresses from the White and Gold collection which was presented at the Purple Rayn third anniversary show last month. This specific dress with an asymmetrical hemline was worn by Vivian Mutesi as she opened the show.

The power fashion writer and editor took to twitter after the show to congratulate Anita on her award and also for “the exquisite work of art”. ” Congratulations Anita; Best Designer of the Year, Uganda. & thank you for this exquisite work of art #FashionWatch,” she tweeted.
