[PHOTOS] The ‘Karamoja’ Movie Premiere Was a Cultural Fest – Here’s What You Missed

The cast, crew, plus guests stepped out elegantly in support of Eleanor Nabwio & Nabwiso Films at the premiere of their latest film project — Karamoja

The AMVCA nominated short film Karamoja, is directed by Mathew Nabwiso and features a cast of Ugandan actors, including Eleanor Nabwiso herself, Nawab Shakarama, Evelyn Atim, Vivian Kintu, Eron Mukiibi, Timothy Kibirango and Elizabeth Ainomugisha.

The movie tells a story of Rita Belinda Nakiru, a beautiful young Karamajong woman living in the UK. Rita falls in love with James Walker, a British man who is bumbling but loveable. James proposes to Rita, and she agrees to marry him. However, before they get married, James insists on meeting her parents in Karamoja.
