New Vision Holds First Annual New Vision Film Awards

Winners of the inaugural edition of the New Vision Film Awards received their awards last Friday, June 24, at the Vision Group offices in the industrial area. These were chosen after a public survey done by the New Vision newspaper during the month of May. The list of winners of was released in a special pull out of The Beat, a print publication by the New Vision, hours before the awards gala.

The awards are aimed at recognizing, appreciating, and celebrating the great names in the Ugandan Film Industry. The event was also aired live on Urban TV.
