From Meeting in a Bar to Forever, Meet The Ssenabulyas!

Love is such a beautiful thing, it’s something we celebrate every single day here at Satisfashionug Weddings. One of those interesting stories, you’ll hear less often is that of The Ssenabulyas. Yusuf Ssenabulya, famous for his stage name Roden Y Kabako, was yesterday introduced to his longtime girlfriend Jazira Namuddu Ddumuna’s parents in a colourful ceremony held in Mpigi, that was attended by scores of their celebrity friends.

What stood out, though, was the couple’s beautiful story, which left the singer crying uncontrollably before the event. Jazira and Yusuf met in a bar, a rare place to find a life partner, in most cases.

“I met him at Déjà vu bar in Kansanga,” Jazira recalls. “He was on stage performing, and his energy was so captivating. I knew right away that he and I would make a perfect match.”

Her first move was go forward and tip this ‘energetic singer’ for a job well.

“She came forward and tipped me 20,000 UGX followed by words that were sweet and tantalizing. Immediately after my performance I rushed to meet this girl, and like they say, sparks flew immediately. We have been together since 2013,” Yusuf recounts.
