Budding Fashion Designer and Creative Visionary Aliad Zoe Passes Away

The fashion industry is in mourning following the sudden passing of Aliad Zoe, a visionary fashion designer widely regarded as one of the most promising talents in the industry. While specific details regarding the cause of her death and final funeral arrangements remain private, the news has sent shockwaves through the fashion community in Uganda.

A multidisciplinary artist with a penchant for high-end editorial aesthetics, Aliad was a distinguished graduate of Tesi Fashion School, the fashion and design institution founded by renowned designer Fatumah Asha. During her time at the school and in the years that followed, she established herself as a “next-generation” designer, known for a unique creative language that blended modern sophistication with a daring, avant-garde edge.

Her immense creativity made her a preferred collaborator for Uganda’s A-list, having curated iconic looks for stars such as Lydia Jazmine, Pia Pounds, and Natasha Sinayobye, among others.
