Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards has officially unveiled the nominees for its highly anticipated 12th edition. The announcement was made live on Africa Magic channels on Sunday, March 29, 2026, and was hosted by AMVCA-winning actorChimezie Imo. The awards continue to celebrate outstanding achievements in African film and television, drawing attention from across the continent.
Uganda has secured two nominations this year. The film Kimote, directed by Hassan Mageye, is nominated for Best Indigenous Language Movie (East Africa).
Meanwhile, the reality TV show Kampala Creme Season 2 has earned a nomination in the Best Indigenous M-Net Original category, produced by Judithiana Namazzi Ndugwa and Joel Ndugwa.
