The British Council Uganda (@eastafricaarts) Creative Showcase Programme was a powerful celebration of creativity, collaboration, and community bringing together artists, designers, dancers, musicians, and creative entrepreneurs for a day of shared experiences.




From the vibrant CEP Creative Market featuring fashion designers, craft makers, jewellery designers, and creative entrepreneurs, to meaningful conversations during Let’s Talk: Control / Risk by DuFFLED Magazine, the showcase created space for connection, reflection, and exchange.




The evening came alive through music and movement with performances from @beeslorna@dante_music256 , @eduwadokayondo@iamotuanne@4_3thegoat@mellan_kunta@iamvuduchild20@moja_production from Sudan In residence at Nyege Nyege villa/ Nyege Nyege Fest


The night continued with the launch of IGC Fashion’s Nsaamo Collection and their first physical store, brought to life through an abstract runway experience co-led by @enzofashionbackstageproduction celebrating Ugandan fashion, indigenous materials, and contemporary design and closed by the immersive SKillz Dance Fest @jeromerwanklyons@bboy_lucas_flex@tresor_martin X Sonic Shadows ( @highpriestofsonicshadows & @d.glare experience celebrating Hip Hop, indigenous sounds, movement, and distortion.
