| Sandra Suubi has released her brand new music video for “Nsiimye” with sign language interpretation, the forthcoming single from her upcoming EP “Anthems of Life”. To view the video visit her YouTube channel “Sandra Suubi”. Nsiimye was written two years ago by pastor Brian Lubega, produced by Sam Bisaso and quickly became a fan favorite, with Sandra Suubi performing it at different events; and the audio was officially released at the beginning of 2017. The video features Hindu Luyinda, a young lady who is deaf and interprets the song in sign language. Hindu couldn’t hear the sound, so she couldn’t tell whether the song was fast or slow, but had to find her rhythm as the audio played and Sandra Suubi sang along during the filming. This shows how performing artists can engage and connect with people with disabilities through visuals. Suubi used her recycled work of plastics that was transformed into a giant ball in the video. The Video was Filmed in Kawempe a suburb in Kampala. Nsiimye Showcases people from different walks of life who share their story of gratefulness in life. Nsiimye has two official videos, one with sign language and the second one with only Sandra Suubi. “Nsiimye” was directed and co-produced by Grate make, who also directed Sandra Suubi’s prior music video “Onjagande nyo. Born Again Entertainment, a Christian company partnered with Sandra Suubi in the production of “Nsiimye Video”. It was important to Sandra Suubi to include her own real-life DIY artist peers in the project, so all of the characters in the video are artists, family, friends and musicians who in one way or another have shared a bit of their journey with her. satisfashionug@gmail.com |
