The Best Outfits of The Week

By  |

The week has been quite eventful. From The Oscars which held on Sunday night, to the visit of the world cup trophy in Kampala and Rema’s concert. In between those events has been a slew of gorgeous outfits. These are our best outfits of the week.

Feel free to choose your favourite and share in the message box below.

Halle Berry proves that she’s aging gracefully, or better to say, she’s aging backward. This embellished mini dress is everything!

Malaika Nnyanzi celebrated Women’s Day in this low-key outfit. But, she doesn’t have basic in her DNA as she jazzed it up her own way. The result is a funky casual look.

Anita Fabiola brought the heat during last night’s edition of #NBSKatchup in this denim set with a black bodysuit. She was styled by Glitz by Nalu.

The only Jenner who isn’t yet a mother put her long pins on display at the Vanity Fair Oscars party. With ruffled sleeves and a hemline this short, this dress is the definition of ‘dramatic’.

Zari’s ‘post-breakup’ style is better than yours.

The combination of sharp cuts and lines on this matching set is ‘life’!

Our favourite fashionista Judithiana wore this white and black Calvin Klein cocktail dress at Cocacola’s #ReadyFor VIP dinner. She looked really elegant.

This is not an outfit, but we had to sneak the photo in. We believe you too would have done the same!

Before the ‘melanin heavy’ women’s day shoot above, Bettinah had time to pose next to the World Cup trophy. She did in a t-shirt and jeans though. But, isn’t this the chicest t-shirt and jeans look you’ve ever seen?

We always love it when Taraji channels Cookie Lyon on the red carpet.

I hadn’t liked this look at first, but my second look at it put those early thoughts to shame. This is most ‘black panther’ appropriate outfit the actor could have worn. Doesn’t he look like a warrior to you? The shoulder embellishment on the longline blazer makes for the coolest blazer ever. The lace-up shoes, my God!

Lupita Nyongo showed inches of leg and won doing it.

Comedian Tiffany Haddish paid homage to her Eritrean roots in this traditional dress from the African country

The epitome of minimal chic, Danai Gurira let her white dress do the talking as she accessorized her outfit with only hair art.

We love love this look! So punk-chic!

We’ve not seen Mary J. Blige this elegant in a long time. The sequined dress had tulle detailing on top of it. Wow!

Our favourite look from Rema’s ‘Banyabo’ concert
