Stallone Lubwama is Always Ready For The Challenge

There’s just something about fearless people that never stops boggling our minds. What does fear mean to them, and how can we be just as badass as they are?

In this series, we talk to a few of people who looked fear in the eyes, and made some really bold and pivotal decisions in their lives.

Meet Stallone Lubwama, our September 2019 cover star. Lubwama describes himself as a model who is always ready for the challenge.

What’s the most fearless decision you’ve ever made?

Oohh my God taking pictures with nothing on but my underwear😂😂. Just imagine having a number of people in the studio watching you pose half naked, as you try to get the perfect shot. It’s nerve-wracking.

I can’t imagine eh. I’m sorry. How was it like?

I wasn’t ready for it at all but because of the passion I have for what I do, I didn’t hold back one bit.  

That’s cool! What is your definition of fearless?

Being brave and courageous. Always being ready for the challenge.

Could you give me a reason for each?

Sure sure!

Usher Raymond – Even with his success, he never stops encouraging young people to never to give up on their dreams. He is such a down to earth superstar. I look up to him.

Idris Elba – Elba is an exceptional actor. He’s a rapper. He’s a fashionista. He’s an adorable father and husband. What can’t Idris Elba do?

 Tyson Beckford – Beckford’s career is every black model’s dream. He managed to stand out in a sea of white models, scoring highly on runways, in editorials, advertising and also building a brand of his own.

Fabian Rios – Rios is a Venezuelan actor who nails every role he lands in the head. You’ll love to hate him as you hate that you love him. He inspires me a lot especially when I have to get into complex characters on set.

 What’s your most fearless fashion choice?

That Satisfashion UG cover was quite a moment. It looks really breezy in pictures, but it was a different story on set.
