From Kampala to London, Ugandan fashion brand Shwanda Kollection is making big moves. Founded by Yvonne Ahimbisibwe, the Afrocentric label is known for turning recycled brass into bold, wearable art.
This year, Yvonne will showcase her designs at Africa Fashion Week London 2025 as part of the Creative DNA program, a platform that supports rising African creatives. She is also an alumna of the Bold Woman Fund, further proving her commitment to empowering local talent and sustainable fashion.
Representing Uganda on an international stage, Shwanda Kollection’s debut in London is a major milestone. It highlights the importance of giving African designers global visibility, industry access, and the support they need to grow.
We can’t wait to see her story, style, and spirit take the spotlight in London!
