Being the host, Santa Anzo obviously had to showcase last. Sticking to an all-white palette, her collection had a sense of purity to it. In her own words she described the mood with three words, peace, love and tranquility. Free falling dresses and kaftans with dramatic (but tamed) sleeves accessorized with head wraps. This was refreshing. It was even more refreshing that she never had a single printed look in her collection. It was indeed a dawn of a new era.
Like she said in her final speech, “The time for Ugandan fashion to shine is now!”
