Our 2019 Collections Issue is Here!

Every year, we bring the standout collections and the most promising models of the season together for a spin, into what is the ‘The Collections Issue‘. (See the 2018 collections here in case you missed it.)

This year’s issue, which is fronted by three stunning covers, stars 8 models who are the new faces you’re about to see everywhere. (See their profiles here for proof.) What stood out during all the collections that debuted this season was a cohesive balance of earthy tones and edge. This issue is a celebration of that.

The issue was styled by Karen Ibiara, an image and style consultant based in London, and photographed by Tessa Lwanga of Photoetc and Banji Bagwana.

We can’t thank Levels Lounge & Restaurant enough for allowing us to shoot at their space, which ultimately brought this vision to life.

Starring on the first cover is Victoria Biong wearing a dramatic ensemble from Kai’s Divo Collection.

Biar Kartel, Godfrey Mutebi, Ruth Ishimwe. and Deborah Akech star on the second cover. Biar wears a suit from Eguana Kampala, Godfrey wears a suit from Sonco, Ruth wears a crotchet dress from Nina Mire and Deborah in Gloria Wavamunno.

Starring on the third cover is Godfrey Mutebi wearing accessories from Kongoliro and Afrodash
