The president of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta was yesterday ushered into The White House to meet with President Donald Trump. Trump was joined by First Lady Melania Trump as well as Kenyan First Lady Margaret Kenyatta for a photo op on Monday afternoon after their meeting. Melania was all pretty in pastels for the occasion, wearing a pale pink shell and a knee-length brocade floral Valentino skirt (from the spring 2017 collection, original price $3,950), which she paired with her go-to Louboutin stiletto heels in a matching shade of baby pink.

This October, the First Lady will be traveling to Africa on a solo trip aimed at learning more about issues plaguing the children there.

“This will be my first time traveling to Africa and I am excited to educate myself on the issues facing children throughout the continent, while also learning about its rich culture and history,” she said in a statement. “We are a global society and I believe it is through open dialogue and the exchanging of ideas that we have a real opportunity to learn from one another.”
