Malaika Nnyanzi’s Miss Uganda 2018 Look was Inspired by Janelle Monae

Malaika Nnyanzi is known for her stylish ensembles, but that doesn’t mean we know her too well to put her in a box. For her Miss Uganda 2018 finale look, the fashion forward lass sought inspiration from Janelle Monae. She however did not just borrow Monae’ signature monochrome colour palette (evidenced in the black LBD with white lace detail on the edges), she styled her hair in a pompadour just like the singer. She styled the hair herself.
