Drama: Zari Literally Swept Everyone Off The Red Carpet at the Miss Uganda 2018 Finale

It didn't matter who you were, you had to leave!

Zari doesn’t play. And, so does her clothes. Last Friday at the finale of Miss Uganda 2018, where she was patron and head judge, the star made a ground breaking appearance. With her glam squad, photographers and bodyguards in tow, she made her way into the venue like the star she is literally sweeping everyone away. It didn’t matter who you were, you had to give her way or else her gown would sweep you off.

When she got to the red carpet, where a number of media houses were interacting with other celebrities, she literally swept everyone off it. Only her gown and herself could fit, in fact, TV crews had to change positions just so they would focus on the ‘most important’ woman of the evening.

There she was, posing from one side to another, giving us the best view of her look. Her glam squad with tops emblazoned with ‘Zari’s Team’ came in after a few shots to arrange the gown so that every photo taken was perfect. Adoring fans, including myself stood in the background watching on. She had just reduced our well manicured nails, perfect makeup and glamorous gowns to nothing. I watched a top celebrity whose name I’ll gladly won’t mention, walk off the carpet because the interview she was doing couldn’t go on as there was no one to interview her.

It sucks not being Zari. When she almost lost her Instagram account to hackers this week, where she’s followed by over 4 million humans, the internet went crazy. The tension could be felt in all corners of the internet. No wonder, days later, a few people were arrested and before we knew it, her account was back. That’s the power of Miss Hassan.
