Valentine's Day

Here’s a Valentine’s Gift Guide Because Flowers Are Basic

By  |

We know many ladies will expect flowers and chocolates and wines. But how about those that don’t exactly like these things or how about flipping the script on her this time round.

You can go ask extra as getting her/him a car or rebuilding her kitchen cabinet or getting him tyres, PlayStation (for the gamers), a house/home or even serenade them.

Handbags/purse

A lovely purse/handbag never goes out of style. It’s an everyday accessory and it’s Feb, A good time to add something to the closet after all the festive season sharing. Also a woman will never have plenty handbags. Have you seen Micheal Kors, new collection?

Scents

They say ‘a woman without scent is undefinable’ but I guess also men without scent get lost. Find something soft and sweet this Valentine’s or stick to her/his favourite.

Gift card

You aren’t sure what to get him/her or you are spoilt for choice, get her a gift card/Shopping card and let him/her go shop for whatever they would love.

Under wear/Lingerie

Many married women know a man will never have enough socks (this part is something the vows didn’t include) you may be tired of picking them up from every corner of the house but they make good presents. Find a beautiful pack alongside other things.

Lingerie is the spice, even when we tend to get used to each other and the hospital nighties take over, at least keep it for the days your mood will be over the mood or for every day. Dear men, if you don’t know how to tell her to throw away her grandma nighties, this will be a lovely choice.

Watches

Date night

When was the last time you sat out together and you aren’t discussing business> there will be lots of shows and restaurant packages. Go extra, buy her a dress and shoes and leave a note for the night. Pick her up if you must or can and just love on each other.

The problem with standing in the middle of the room is that you become part of the narrative and the power to tell the story is stripped off you. I pour it out in writing, shaping the river into words.
