Welcome to another episode of Fashion Face-off. Our subjects today are renowned style risk-takers.

Kim Kardashian is an American reality TV star, while Sheilah Gashumba is also a TV star. Kardashian was at the Hollywood Beauty Awards, while Gashumba was just being in love posing for ‘the gram’.

Bruce: I love that Kim is a great risk-taker, this look is from the spring 1998 Thierry Mugler collection. No one does vintage better than her. However, this particular look is quite risqué even for her. The cut-out detail on the bodice was definitely not made for her breast size. Her boobs look really constricted, it’s not healthy.

Hassan: This is Kim being in her element. It’s a daring design which she managed to pull off. I agree that her boobs look constricted, but nothing on her face says that. She looks really comfortable. Her goal was to turn heads, and she succeeded.

Sheilah Gashumba

Bruce: First of all, the glow Sheilah is exuding is giving me all the life. She’s wearing ‘barely there’ makeup and no accessories at all, and still looks radiant. Comparing the constriction on the boobs, this looks more wearable and suited for her cup size. However, this being her first Valentine’s Day dinner date, this dress was a bit too much. I’m all for freedom to wear whatever you want, but she’s going too fast, even in her fashion choices. Something less revealing would have done a better job. I would recommend this dress for her second Valentine’s Day dinner. Just saying!

Hassan: Yes, Sheila’s dress is perfect for her cup size. I’ll disagree with you, there’s nothing wrong with wearing this dress on a first Valentine’s dinner date. I love her minimal makeup, she’s just being herself, a girl in love. Let’s cut her some slack.

Verdict

Bruce: I don’t like any of the dresses, and wouldn’t recommend them for anyone. Daring, yes, but too risqué. I can’t imagine the pain Kim had to go through with her boobs caged like that.

Hassan: Sheilah takes this one for me. I feel like we’re judging her too much. Let her wear what she wants. Kim should do the same too, however, this design is a bit too much.
