Eminent Brands Ltd To Hold The First Kids and Teens’ Fashion Show In Kampala This Saturday
All is set for the first of its kind fashion show in Kampala which is to be held this Saturday 20th May, 2017 at Kampala International School. According to a press release, the event is aimed at giving kids and teens a fashion show of their own.
“The main reason we chose to do a kids runway show is to promote kids as well. All runway shows are usually for adults, but this one is for teens and kids aged 4 to 17,” said Gabriella Zarama Abigaelle, the marketing director of Eminent brands, the organizers of this event.
There will be an exhibition from 10:00 am to 3:00pm, which will be followed by the runway show from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, where kids and teens will walk down the ramp showcasing the latest designs in kids and teens’ fashion. Iki Dee designs, Ntuha Clothing, Kente Couture, Bobbin brothers, Woolworths and Mr. Price are some of the fashion brands that will unveil their latest collections on the runway.
Auditions have been done, and models aged 3 to 17 years have already been selected. They are receiving professional training from top modeling coaches.
The event will also have a lot of great entertainment from Kampala International School students.
Kampala kids & teens fashion show is a signature affair poised to position Uganda on the fast growing international kids fashion scene. The initiative is also set to give local designers of kids’ clothing a platform to showcase their latest designs, with the pomp and glamour as seen at fashion shows for adults.
The event is produced by Eminent Brands LTD and sponsored by Brussels Airlines, Mr. Price, Bossini, Skin Guard, Woolworths, Oriflame, Cavalli Modeling Agency, Mantie Group, Movit and hosted by Kampala International School Uganda.
