Eguana Kampala’s SS20 campaign is an ode to the ’70s, if these pictures are anything to go. According to the brand, the collection was inspired by Africa in the ’70s.
“It’s our SS/20 collection recently showcased during Kampala fashion week. The collection was inspired by life in Africa in the 70s as well as the Funk era in the US at the same time. We wanted the campaign to feel like one was looking through their parents’ old photo albums.
The campaign was shot in Kawempe and Makerere and features Kon, Humphrey, Zackie and Arek from. Joram Model Management and Gideon, Anena and Charlie who are independent models.
Makeup was by Vanny Glam UG and photographs by Banji Bagwana. We collaborated with Kongoliro on the accessories.”
