Beryl Qouture Presents the ‘Mothers and Daughters Fashion Takeover’ Part 1 Starring Gerry Opoka

Beryl Qouture’s latest campaign is a celebration of the bond of mothers and their daughters. It stars Gerry Opoka, a certified Zumba instructor and her daughters Tiyanna Ssebunya and Imani Ssebunya.

Opoka is the proprietor of Soul Fitness LTD, a dance studio located at Corner House, Mawanda road.

“I love dancing to a fault. I love life to the core and enjoy being around people who make me happy. Most of all, I love God. My work as a dance instructor allows me to experience a lot of beautiful things every single day and had I known this years back, I would have left formal employment then.

However, I didn’t make the grand plan to shift to private business. It was very scary and daunting, but I was simply fed up and desperately needed a break so I decided to dance for a while as I figured out what my future would be like. One day, I realized that dance is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. So, I left formal employment and made the move to the dance class. And the rest has been history.”
