Anok Yai Blossoms on the October 2026 Cover of Vogue Brasil

@anokyai returns to the cover of @voguebrasil for its October 2026 issue, marking her second cover for the magazine, seven years after her debut. Fresh from an intense fashion month that saw her walk for major names including Gucci, Saint Laurent, Chanel and Schiaparelli, the model also closed the Ferragamo show in Milan and Balenciaga in Paris. Her remarkable run earned her the Model of the Year award at the 2025 British Fashion Awards.

For the cover story, Anok travelled from New York to the Serra da Mantiqueira in São Paulo, where she was photographed surrounded by the region’s lush and enchanting nature. The editorial, titled “Encantada,” captures her in romantic and delicate looks against the colourful landscape, creating a dreamy celebration of fashion and nature.

Born in Cairo to parents who fled the genocide in Sudan, Anok arrived in the United States as a refugee at the age of three. Discovered by a photographer at 17, she went on to become one of the most sought-after models of her generation and an important voice in the fight against racism in fashion. She also made history as the second Black model to open a Prada show, following Naomi Campbell.
