Angella Summer Namubiru has won the African social star award at the 2022 E! People’s choice awards defeating a field that included Big brother Naija: shine ya eye 1st Runner up Liqourose and Nigerian celebrity stylist Swanky Jerry.
Famous for posting entertaining videos of herself in a rural environment on her TikTok account, Angella Summer Namubiru was born on the 3rd of June 1995 and has managed to gather over 5 million plus followers on her Tik Tok plus more on her Instagram and YouTube. One of the videos she shared last year has exceeded 31.8 million views. Her top three videos in total have 80.2 million views
In a moving acceptance speech, Namubiru said: “Tuwangude” as she celebrated with her mum over a zoom call with an E! People’s choice awards representative who announced the voting results as seen on E!’s official Instagram page.
