Kaijuka Abbas returned to Tanzania again last weekend to show his latest collection at Swahili Fashion Week. The designer is proving to the the world that he can do all, after showing a new collection at Men’s Wear Week in Nigeria and another at Urban Street Fashion Week. And yes, he showed a new collection last weekend inspired by ancient Eyptian royalty.
“The collection is called Gypsy, because it consists of varying materials and designs characterized by eclectic cuts of sassy male outfits to create a new men’s fashion sphere with gigantic head pieces inspired by the royal and antique of the Egyptian gods and goddesses and Persian designs. The feminine pieces comprise of elegant and stylishly stitched draped dresses with ruffles, blended with bright colours like red, soothing ones like peach , off-white and hues of black to add abit of drama to the simple princess-like ball gowns and chick classic attires,” he shared in a statement.
