Ugandan designer Martha Jabo was at Swahili Fashion Week last weekend to debut her latest collection. The designer who is known for her classic glamour and signature bodice architecture didn’t disappoint at all. Her mostly blue pieces were modern, cut to fit and so ‘martha jabo’.
“My collection was inspired by the night ocean. I have always been fascinated by the way the ocean comes to life at night and takes a different form and colour as a result of the night skies and stars. To bring that to life I made sure I use colours that signify that. My colour theme was mainly comprised of dark cyan, teal, steel blue, light sea green and turquoise,” she shared in a statement.
