Here’s Proof That Rema Came to 2018 to Slay

By  |

Let’s be honest, Rema has had her style troubles. From struggling to cultivate her own personal style to finding a stylist that ‘gets her’, she has seen it all. At some point, she tried to look like all the ‘slay queens’ in town wearing only trendy pieces, which was a complete disaster because that’s not her. Good news is, all that is in the past now.

The ‘Banyabo’ singer has been slowly cultivating a unique personal style, and I guess many of you have noticed this with her 2018 style ensembles so far. With a successful music career under her belt and young family, her style is shaping up to be a classic one. She enjoys being modest wearing gowns that accentuate her curvy frame but showing little or no skin at all. I guess we all can’t forget what she did at the 2017 Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards, landing on the best-dressed list of the event.

We’re only about to close January 2018, and she has already proved that shes’ one of the style stars to watch in 2018. She basically came to slay this year. Want proof? See below.

This sequined black busuuti and her sleek hair were a perfect match. The statement necklace came in handy because when it is busuuti, it’s okay to be maximalist.

This off-the-shoulder gown with dramatic frilly sleeves is all the chaos we want to see happen in her life. Not those rumours swirling all over the blogosphere. Slay slay..

This dress did her justice just as much as she did it.

Her on-stage style is improving greatly too.

Her makeup artiste Fayth Presh surely knows what to do with her beautiful facial features.

We refuse to forget what she did at the 2017 Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards simply because of this dress. Thank you Fatumah Asha.
