Who will represent Uganda at Miss Asia Pacific world?

One of the most popular beauty pageants in Asia is returning for its fourth year. Last year’s pageant which was held in Seoul, South Korea was won by Shrishti Rana from India. This year’s event will be held in Seoul Korea at the prestigious Hallyu Complex on May 31st.

According the Miss Asia Pacific World Uganda facebook page, five Ugandan girls have been shortlisted to vie for the hot spot of representing us this year. One shocker is that they are all socialites! The page further explains that liking their photos brings each one of them closer to the number one spot. Here they are

1. Doreen Faith, fashion designer

2. Shontelle Christian Namuddu, model

3. Sheila Carol Gashumba, TV presenter

4. Nina Mirembe, model

5. Doreen Kabareebe, model

This is the second time Uganda is taking part in this pageant as last year we were represented by Ms Stella Nankya. According to the pageant’s website, Stella is current  director of Miss Asia Pacific World Uganda and SouthAfrica.
