The reigning Mirinda Miss Teen Vanessa Nansove has vowed to support her school St-Joseph Girls School Nsambya in all ways to retain the Mirinda Miss Teen Crown.
“We shall take the crown again there is no doubt. We have very creative and beautiful girls here,” said Vanessa.
Nansove said this over the weekend when the Mirinda Miss Teen Search team went to her school St Joseph Nsambya. The search team was scanning through the school for a potential Mirinda Miss Teen for the year 2016. St Joseph Nsambya is the fifth school the search has gone to after Nabisunsa, Seeta High, Iganga SS and Mbale Comprehensive.
According to the Brand Manager Mirinda Mr. Timothy Luzinda, the search is still on. He encouraged girls in the schools the search is yet to go, to get ready to participate.
“We still have a number of schools to go to, so it’s like we have just started, just be ready, we are coming to your school,” said Luzinda.
Ahebwa Tracy was voted Mirinda Miss Teen St. Joseph Nsambya and promised to use her crown to advocate for Girl Child Education. “We want more girls to go to school and later on take on serious responsibilities in society. I will use my crown to advocate for that,” said Tracy.
