[Watch:] Kai’s Divo Collection Releases Fashion Film, An Ode To Escapism

Kaijuka Abbas of Kai’s Divo Collection is one of Uganda’s most consistent fashion designers with the courage to try whatever he wants to make. This time round he has premiered his newest collection “escapism” in a fabulous film.

Escapism is the tendency to seek distraction and relief from unpleasant realities and that’s just what this collection is. According to the brand, “Focusing on the colourful and brighter side of this post pandemic era that we’re living in” and when they said colourful, they mean just that! There’s not a hint of black or white in this collection, just bursting with candy colours.

Set in an other worldly space among the trees, this collection takes you out of the mundane and into the fantasy world where everything is okay.
