Versace Hired 54 Models For Their AW18 Ad Campaign

By  |

Versace has introduced a new image as part of The Clans of Versace campaign  which also happens to be one of the longest-ever advertising images.

“Side by side, the main image features a cast of fifty-four models symbolising inclusivity, a key value for Donatella Versace and her vision for the brand,” they shared in a press release. This shot by renowned photographer Steven Meisel — is “a true representation of clans that embody everything Versace stands for — diversity expressed together with innovation in the fearless representation of what it means to be daring.”

Donatella also offers some insight into how this 54-model advertising image represents the Versace brand going forward: “My team doesn’t just extend to my work team. The Versace Clans are made of all members of the Versace family – from customers to models, fans, photographers, stylists, friends, artists and all who believe that staying relevant means moving forward and making your voice heard – all who believe that fashion is not a way to just say ‘look at me’ but rather ‘look at me, I have something to say’.”

Dedicated to reminding us Versace is a brand focused on inclusivity, the image features movers and shakers like Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Gisele Fox, Kaia Gerber, Kris Grikaite, Shanelle Nyasiase, and Adut Akech.
