Tyler the Creator’s Watch Collection Went Viral For This Random Reason 

Recently the internet was left in awe when rapper Tyler, the Creator showed off his watch collection, but the reason why is somewhat unexpected. Everyone knows the typical rapper jewelry; heavy hanging chain, gargantuan watches with so many diamonds you can’t even tell the time. 

Tyler’s collection is starkly different, he chooses to go for small watch faces and leather straps. His quirky style shows through with the different colours and watch face styles that he goes for, but they are generally watches you could have in your jewelry box as well. The ‘Cartier Crash’ warped watch is the most “weird” one, but the other Cartier pieces also shine. 

In a time where fans are not necessarily impressed with opulence, the positive reaction to this collection is a sign of the times, but also it is a true display of originality that Tyler is known for. That he wouldn’t be pressured by the hip hop industry standard of Audemars Piguet and heavy Hublot watches is nothing short of impressive.
