There’s no such thing as winter in Uganda, but that doesn’t mean that a good pair of boots has no place here. Especially if it is an over-the-knee pair of boots. Fact is, boots that go beyond the knees are having their sartorial moment, again. From the runways in Paris to the Instagram feeds of Kampala’s top fashionistas.

You don’t have to wear these boots because everyone is doing so. The functional benefits of wearing them are countless, but let’s leave out the fact that they provide that extra warmth covering the legs and thighs. Wearing over-the-the knee boots adds a playful edge to your outfit. Wearing a mini skirt or short dress has never been so comfortable.
