This Collection By Fashion Brand Laurenceairline Merges art, Ecology, and Multiculturalism to Create Elegant, Contemporary, and Sustainable Pieces

Ivorian-rooted fashion brand laurenceairline describes itself as a brand that is always moving. Of Cameroonian and French origins, born in Côte d’Ivoire, Laurence Chauvin- Buthaud, creator of the brand, evolves between Paris and Abidjan. The brand stems from this reality. A reality not fixed in one place, but situated between two skies.

The contemporary and sustainable fashion brand recently unveiled its new collection dubbed ‘Mother Nature’s Dream’, a collection that is made in laurenceairline’s atelier in Grand-Bassam, and 80% of the fabrics used are organic cotton harvested in Burkina Faso and then handwoven by @cabes_official , a social enterprise in Burkina Faso.

The collection features wavy patterns in unique combinations of colors and carefully crafted pieces made with 100% handwoven organic cotton and unisex pieces in black, deep blues and clay browns, all inspired by designer Laurence Chauvin-Buthaud’s memories of West Africa in the 1980s.

In a statement following the release, the brand stated:

From the creation of these unique fabrics with @cabes_official in Burkina Faso to returning to our workshop in Grand-Bassam where the production takes place and finally traveling with you and accompanying you on your life journey, sharing the most beautiful vibrations. Mother Nature Dream’s Couture Collection depicts our natural environment and is an invitation to meditation, a reconnection with our inner essence!
