Best of 2018

The 25 Best Songs of 2018, According to Satisfashion UG Editors

By  |

It’s been such a roller-coaster of sorts for Uganda’s music industry this year; from the untimely demise of Moses Radio early in the year to the cancellation of Bobi Wine’s end of year concert. In between, one female singer failed to secure her wig during a TV performance, something that turned her into an overnight sensation. But, still that didn’t stop us from dancing along. That’s the beauty of being Ugandan. You let it slide by, and have fun with it.

During all the above melodrama, Satisfashion UG editors were busy writing and editing content for this site, whilst listening to a lot of the music. Some of these songs went on to inspire a lot of the Fashion Police commentary, because how do you write a compelling piece without a nice song blasting away in the background.

Here, Satisfashion UG editors share songs that made creating content for this site worthwhile.
