Stop What You are Doing! You Need To See Makeup Artist Nahya’s Kukyala Décor

Ace makeup artist Nahya Shero of Nahya Glam quietly hosted her soon to be husband’s family at her home in a traditional event commonly known as ‘Kukyala’. Originally, a Kukyala was an intimate event held indoors where a soon to be son-in-law and his entourage finally meets his wife-to-be’s parents. The event precedes an official ‘Kwanjula’ which is attended by the rest of the extended family plus family and friends. This has since changed, as a Kukyala is now a lot more fabulous with stunning décor and attended by relatively more guests.

This is exactly what happened at Shero’s event. The makeup artist who counts Nina Roz, Lydia Jazmine and Winnie Nwagi as her clients took to her Instagram to share pictures of the colourful décor that took centre stage at her over-the-top Kukyaala.
