Stop The Presses! Kaijuka Abbas’ Newest Shoot Is The Only News You Need Today

Fashion designer and stylist Abbas Kaijuka is usually the mastermind behind many of Kampala’s most glamorous shoots, but this time, he was under the spotlight, and we need a minute to catch our breaths!

As it was his birthday recently, the fashion maestro was gifted a photoshoot by his best friend. In an Instagram post he explains, “I just want to brag about my best friend for surprising me with a birthday shoot, this newspaper design concept made for me draws on real-life, in the moment information that catches the hustle and bustle of everyday life balancing it with glamour and fun living.”

And who is the best friend in question? Phiona from @p_worldofdesign of course! Eclectic, trendsetting and never one to stick to the status quo, Phiona is an Interior and exterior architectural designer that is all about embracing the quirks to create unique designs for her clients, friends and family in her day to day life. She adorns this world with her brilliantly creative mindset with outrageous textures, elements, shapes and color combinations being the norm throughout her work.

He ended with big blessings for his friend, “I am super proud of her, God bless you my dear and I love my birthday gift so much.”

We must say, we are thankful to her too, because this setup and the execution of this concept were stellar. The pops of colour that make you do a double take, the dressed down yet exquisite space, as well as Abbas’ self styled looks just combined together to knock the air right out of our lungs. Someone pass an inhaler…
