Dubbed ‘ukholo – faith’, the AW ’22 collection from South African brand Mmuso Maxwell takes an innovative and creative route to address an important social issue. “An exploration of the theatrics used by deceitful religious leaders in South Africa”- said the brand while introducing the collection
Maxwell’s authentic self is always about the gray and dark pant ensemble. For his most innovative collection yet, he let a little air in via round patches in some unique pieces including handwoven merino wool camp tailored jackets, fringe mini and knee length skirts, wool knitted turtlenecks, gray and black tailored pants, trench coats, wool skirts and Keyhole knitted black dresses.
Describing one of the looks the brand said, “the tags are poking fun at how everything is for sale nowadays, even a miracle has a price!”
