The spirit of vibrant authenticity was unmissable last week as Smirnoff joined the Vibe Tribe at the Good Shepherd Hostel at Kyambogo University. In a collaboration with MTN, Jumia, and NRG Radio, the event transformed the hostel grounds into a playground of music, style, and infectious party Smirnoff party spirit.

The Smirnoff party was the center turn-up, featuring a premium lounge where students enjoyed curated cocktails and engaged in spirited party games. The party only got better with high-stakes dance competitions as NRG Radio’s finest selectors delivering wall-to-wall bangers that kept the crowd dancing from start to finish.

Raymond Karama, Smirnoff Brand Manager spoke on the movement’s core vision saying,
“The Vibe Tribe is a high energy party that speaks directly to the Smirnoff spirit. To us, this was the perfect opportunity to bring the fiesta experience closer to our Kyambogo consumers through music”,

A major highlight of the evening was the official recognition of the three Vibe Tribe Treasure Hunt winners. After weeks of digital engagement, they were brought on stage to roaring applause. The grand prize winner is set to receive a comprehensive room makeover courtesy of Jumia.

As the tour continues, Smirnoff remains committed to supporting the diverse voices and vibrant lifestyles of Uganda’s youth. Onto the next stop but first, here’s a look at how it went down at Kyambogo:
