Imagine the frustration of dressing to the nines, wearing the boldest makeup only getting to the event and there’s no ‘picturesque’ spot to take photos from! It is infuriating, even if you’re not a slay king or queen. If you’ve been to Blankets & Wine, you know quite well that the event never has a photo booth for revelers and fashionistas to take photos from. Considering that, this is a music festival that has since turned into a fashion funfair, it is something the organizers should have considered already.
With anticipation for the next Blankets & Wine building with each day that leads to 6th May, slay kings and queens are taking to social media to ask Blankets & Wine to consider the above. TV stars Sheilah Gashumba and Bettinah Tianah took to Twitter to voice their concerns in unison.
Dear @BlanketsNWineUG , on behalf of the slay Kings and queens of Uganda, Fashionstas etc !! We are kindly requesting for a photo area/ booth at your event for us to take perfect photos of our outfits at your event!
We would appreciate it if you put our request into consideration pic.twitter.com/tzRsKpCDFD— Sheilah C Gashumba (@SheilahGashumba) April 9, 2018
Blankets & Wine has since responded with a tweet saying that they’re taking it into consideration.
We are taking this into consideration. Thank you for your feedback. https://t.co/2aCxFPXjmJ
