Sheebah in This Fuchsia Fatumahasha Dress is The Most Powerful Thing We Looked at This Week! 

Sheebah turned 31 this week! Why is it a big deal? You’ll ask. Well, even if you’re not a fan her music, you can’t deny her impact and influence. 7 years after her big break, the singer hasn’t looked back one bit, with one major win after another. She has since morphed into an ambitious businesswoman. Yet prior to that, no one ever expected her to be the saviour of Uganda’s music. In an industry dominated by men, she carved her own space on the table, proving that a woman can beat men at their own game. Indeed, many people, including men, now look to her for inspiration! 

In celebration of her birthday, she had a shoot, which featured a number of looks, but this particular dress stands out. Fuschia is a hue that’s associated with power and assertiveness, two of the things Sheebah is. It’s also invigorating, a spirit we need in these trying times we’re trudging through. 

Colour aside, the details are quite a number, but it’s interesting to see how they all work in harmony. She shows her unwavering support for the ‘high slit’, because if you know Sheebah, you know she has no qualms showing those inches of skin off. The tiered bell sleeves add bits of drama, but it’s the ‘pussy bow’ neck that takes the show. 

There couldn’t have been a better design to celebrate such a powerful force!
