Sandra Kahumuza Twinoburyo Is Satisfashion Ug’s Woman Crush Today

News anchor, journalist and brand ambassador Sandra Kahumuza Twinobryo is a Ugandan media personality, radio and TV host, news anchor, reporter, and all round fashion star.

Kahumuza says she’s been passionate about journalism since she was a child. She went on to pursue and attain  a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. While at Makerere University, her flair and polished style sense earned her the title of ‘Hottest fashionista’ at campus. This, however, didn’t faze her passion for story telling. After school, he worked with Record TV as a news reporter and Radio City 97FM before joining NTV Uganda, her current work station. She anchors the NTV Weekend Edition and also hosts Talk of the Nation.

Kahumuza is passionate about climate change, and spoke candidly about the subject during media conference in Berlin, German. “At the conference, I networked with journalists from different parts of the world and was able to learn about current best practices as well as cutting edge methods in journalism. Both opportunities have positioned me better to tackle human interest stories, which often have a lot to do with the environment. Here in Uganda we feel the impact of climate change daily. Floods, unpredictable weather or droughts are becoming the norm and I think as a journalist, it’s my duty to report about that. And that’s why I am keen to be a part of the Eco Africa Team, because the show offers solutions to so many problems,” she said.

Away from her work, Kahumuza mentors young talent in the Journalism and Communication industry. “Young people should give everything they do their very best because everything falls in place once you don’t stop at the bare minimum,” she says

A woman who wears multiple hats and still manages to thrive at whatever she sets her mind to, not only does Kahumuza have a mind blowing work ethic, but she also manages to look good while at it. Her personal style is one that can’t be boxed in one. She swiftly oscillates from chic formal looks, which her job calls for, to bold colorful looks when she’s out holidaying.
